The #1 Grip in Golf Worldwide.
75th Anniversary
To celebrate Golf Pride’s 75th Anniversary, we created carousel posts highlighting their most important grips through the years. This campaign took place from August to December 2024.
With a focus on the 50s, 60s, and 70s, the next timeline tells the story of the Victory Grip - a fan favorite that has since been discontinued. We launched a Giveaway, much to the delight of Golf Pride fans.
The next installment features the Tour Velvet - now the most popular grip on Tour, and a staple of the Golf Pride lineup. It was birthed in in 1995 and Tiger Woods won his first major championship using the grip in 1997.
A unique component of Golf Pride is that they have no brand deals with players. We are never able to call out players by name, but can allude to certain players using photos and tournament references.
The final chapter introduces the MCC, another staple of Golf Pride’s lineup. It was the first grip of any kind to have color. It also features a hybrid layout - rubber grip for the lower hand, and corded grip for the upper hand.
